PADI standards state that all DM students must have own manuals, DM manual, Diving Knowledge Workbook, Encyclopaedia. Also all slates, Wheel, Table and an E-RDPml.

To enroll in a PADI Divemaster program you must be certified Rescue Diver or equivalent with CPR training in the past two years.
