Discover Scuba Diving

A Discover Scuba Diving or DSD is an introduction to diving. You can dive to a depth of 12 metres and will always be under direct supervision of an instructor. We offer DSDs every afternoon.

You will spend some time on the boat discussing the details of the dive with your instructor and then you will begin the dive in very shallow water, slowly moving to a depth that you are comfortable with.

A few reasons to choose to participate in a DSD :
  • Limited time. DSDs only take 1 afternoon to complete
  • If you are unsure if diving is for you
  • Not interested in theory
  • If you cannot float or swim

Please note that this is not a certification. If you decide you would like to be certified after experiencing a DSD you can gain the Open Water Diver in another 2 and a half days

The price is 2,000 baht for 1 dive or 3,000 baht for 2 dives. These prices include equipment, instructor and boat trip.
